At Martin Christopher Opticians & Hearing Care, we are committed to providing high-quality products and services. This Refund Policy outlines our terms for returns, exchanges, and refunds in line with UK consumer rights.
1. Prescription Glasses & Contact Lenses
- As prescription eyewear is custom-made, we can only offer refunds or exchanges in cases of manufacturing defects or prescription errors.
- If you believe there is an issue with your glasses or lenses, please return them to us within 30 days of collection for assessment.
- Adjustments and minor repairs are offered free of charge within the first 12 months.
2. Hearing Aids & Accessories
- Hearing aids are covered by the manufacturer’s trial period and warranty. If you experience issues, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Refunds are only available in cases of faulty products as per the manufacturer’s terms.
- Accessories (batteries, cleaning kits, etc.) are non-refundable unless defective.
3. Ear Wax Removal Services
- Due to the nature of this service, we do not offer refunds unless a clinical error occurs.
- If the procedure cannot be completed due to medical reasons, we will discuss alternative options.
4. Frames & Sunglasses (Non-Prescription)
- Non-prescription frames and sunglasses may be returned within 14 days, provided they are unused, in their original packaging, and with proof of purchase.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
5. Faulty or Defective Products
- If a product is faulty, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Please notify us as soon as possible and return the item for assessment.

8. Processing Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
- Refunds for card payments may take additional time depending on your bank.
